DAY 01. CITY OF ORIGIN- MEDELLIN Welcome to the World’s most innovative city! (City of the Year)
The passenger arrives by his own means to the Jose María Córdova International Airport in Rio Negro, Antioquia, where he will be received by one of our company’s certified bilingual guides, who will take him to the Du Park Hotel. Check In. Once there he will have some free time to rest and get used to the place. At night, if the itinerary allows, we will have dinner at an international restaurant to welcome him and talk about the eco adventure awaiting us.
DAY 02. MEDELLIN – CITY TOUR
American breakfast at 7 a.m., in the morning the city tour starts at 9:00 a.m. or in the afternoon at 2:00 p.m. We will meet in the lobby 30 minutes before, afterwards you will be accompanied by a tour guide, we have included a Turibus tour, in which you will see some of Medellin’s most representative places. It includes exotic fruit tasting and lunch or dinner depending on the time you choose to do the tour. Here, we will tour around places of most touristic, architectonic, cultural, patrimonial, gastronomic, historical and entertainment interest of the city, such as museums, parks, libraries, theme parks, universities, hills, shopping malls, squares and avenues.
INCLUDES: Transportation under the Hop on Hop off International System, in which you can get on and off the bus freely in any of the 7 authorized stops, according to your ticket and knowing that every 70 minutes a bus goes past that will allow you to continue the tour.
It also includes: A round trip ride on the Turibus, a tour guide, travel insurance and a tour around city’s major tourist attractions.

DAY 03. GUATAPE-SANTA ELENA (climb the top of the Peñol stone)
American breakfast at 7:00 a.m. at the Du Park Hotel. Leaving at 8:00 a.m. to Guatapé and spending the whole day there, going along its dams, the plazoleta de zócalos (Tiles Square) and its gorgeous colorful houses, tasting some of the region’s traditional desserts, taking a boat ride along the dam or climbing the giant 220 meter-high stone which takes more than 700 steps to climb, and take a look at the exuberant dam.
Main Peñol Park, visit the old Peñol’s semi replica, visit Guatapé’s crag (La Piedra). Take a tour around Guatape’s main park, take a walk around its traditional streets and appreciate its beautiful tiles and surroundings.
If you’re not about climbing 700+ steps, you can also enjoy a boat ride along the great lagoon formed by Guatapé’s dam. At noon we will enjoy a traditional antioqueño lunch. At the end on the day, around 4:00 pm we will go to the town of Santa Elena where we’ll stay in the Terrabela EcoHotel, check in, dinner.
DÍA 04. Santa Elena (Magic/Biodiversity/Natural)
Enjoy the charm of this magnificent Hotel in the midst of a natural reserve 25 minutes away from Medellin, surrounded by mountains and Green landscapes, overflowing with nature. That’s SANTA ELENA, an ecological area, a natural reserve, Paradise for locals and strangers, the town is 700 meters away from the park that holds the silletero monument and 200 meters away from the main road, we’ll stay at the TERRABELA ECO HOTEL an ideal place to get some rest.
Breakfast at 7 a.m. at the Terrabela EcoHotel, at 9am we leave towards Arvi Park where you will find a complete ECO-Turístic plan, which you can enjoy in the style of a Colombian farmer, it’s the dreamed place for nature lovers.
Arvi is an eco-touristic park located between Piedras Blancas, Mazo, Piedra Gorda and Barro Blanco. It’s a foggy forest, home to mosses, flowers, birds, butterflies, frogs and many more species that help conserve the forest and its waters which go down to the Aburra Valley and San Nicolás.
Go along the ANCESTRIAL PATHS, enjoy a traditional lunch on picnic areas, support the region by buying artisan’s products such as objects, food, wine, sweets and don’t forget to visit the traditional SILLETERA FARM.

In the afternoon, around 4 pm we will go to the municipality of Jardin, Antioquia. We will stay at the Condor del los Andes Hostel (Traditional Farm), dinner and free night.
DAY 05. JARDIN (ECO/ETNO Tourism)
Jardin belongs to the Aves Loro Orejiamarillo Natural reserve; it is also home to among others, the Andean cock-of-the-rock, oilbirds and baudó oropéndola or ‘backpacker’, a yellow bird that builds nests that hang form the highest branches, the nests look like little pouches and the bird’s cry sounds like a drop falling into a well. Amazing!
Light breakfast at 5 a.m. in the Condor de los Andes Hostel, we’ll leave around 5:30 a.m. to take a walk around the hostel and do some bird watching, we’ll return to the hostel, and after a break, at 9am or so, we’ll go on a tour around the town that includes visiting the Inmaculada Concepción Basilica (majesty), Libertador Park’s church (architecture), aerial cable (round trip included), Herrera path (you can buy traditional sweets from the region in LA CASA DE LOS DULCES).

DAY 06. Santa Rosa de Cabal (Risaralda) – San Vicente Thermal Reserve ( Health and well-being)
Breakfast at the Condor de los Andes Hostel. Leaving at 9am towards Santa Rosa de Cabal. Lunch in a restaurant on the road. Arriving to Santa Rosa de Cabal and tasting the Santa Rosan Chorizo. Then, you will be taken to the San Vicente thermals to enjoy relaxing baths and a pleasant evening close to nature. Accommodation and dinner close to the reserve in EL PLALCER FARM in Santa Rosa de Cabal (Coffee Farm).
DAY 7. Armenia- la Marsellesa Oasis de Paz Hotel Farm
COFFEE TOUR EXPERIENCE/ /AGRO ECOLOGY 07:00 a.m., at EL PLACER FARM in Santa Rosa, we’ll have breakfast and we’ll get ready for our trip to Armenia at 10 a.m. We’ll arrive to La Marsellesa – Oasis de Paz farm located on the Armenian road – La Tebaida – Murillo. Arrival to the Hotel (traditional coffee farm).
You’ll have the rest of you morning free, you’ll have international lunch in the Allure Aroma Mocawa Hotel, in The Grill Restaurant at 1pm, at 3p.m. there will be a Tour around patrimonial Quindio towns, and we will visit Salento and Filandia.
Breakfast at 8:00 am leaving around 9:30 am to the agreed theme park, estimated tour duration: 6 hours approximately. Once there, traditional lunch is included. The tour goes around coffee farms designed with traditional trails and buildings, the most adventurous may choose to dress with chapolera, collector or muleteer outfits, assuming the roles of FARMERS of the muleteer and coffee culture. You will be able to see the Yipaos’ tradition, who collect coffee with their traditional outfits, in the middle of coffee crops you’ll obseve the PCC, you’ll be explained the labors within a coffee crop and all its post-harvest process, you’ll visit the ‘beneficiadero’ a place where coffee is made, also you’ll see the coffee ritual and visit ‘la puteria’ roadhouse.
Recuca (1 day) (Lunch or Bitute OPL*, ‘la PUTERIA’ roadhouse where you can find a vast variety of artisans’ creations and buy hydrating drinks)
Welcome: You’ll be offered a welcoming drink which is a mix of panela water and coffee called “Chaqueta” and in the middle of the tour you’ll taste the “Bogadera”, which a drink made of panela water with lemon and cinnamon.
The ‘Yipao’ in my town’s holiday: Our newest attraction, as a contribution to the coffee area, it is a beautiful reproduction in a scale model theater, of some of our town’s streets, where the traditional event is held, full of movement and its well-known ‘piques’.
Chapoleras and Muleteers
As a ludic activity, visitors may use traditional chapolera or muleteer outfits.
Coffee trail visit
In the middle of coffee crops, we’ll observe the Cultural Coffee landscape and we’ll be explained the labors within a coffee crop. It’s a flat trail, the hike last 30 minutes approximately and it’s apt for children, families and elders.
Coffee Harvest: All participants will have the opportunity to wear the current coffee-collector outfit and participate in grain harvest simulation. Coffee collecting payment (bill issued by the Collector’s bank “Banco del recolector”).
Post-Harvest: It takes place around the house, where you’ll see the grandparent’s beneficiadero and the ecological beneficiadero, which are the places where the farm’s coffee is currently produced.
Coffee Ritual: You’ll be taught to prepare and drink coffee. You’ll be offered a cup of Recuca exportation coffee.
Coffee tasting: Sensorial experience where you’ll taste different types of coffee, evaluating its qualities, such as: fragrance, aroma, acidity, body and global impression.
Little collectors: Special program for children between the ages of 3 and 10, who will participate and learn in a fun way the labors related to coffee crops.
The muleteers (1 day muleteer passport) Sensorial experience.
In the afternoon we’ll return to the Marsellesa farm. DINNER
DAY 9. PCC Cafetero- Medellin (Return to the Coffee Highway)
Traditional breakfast at 7am in La Marsellesa, we’ll travel from Quindio to Antioquia, LUNCH ON THE ROADSIDE, and Arriving to Medellin by land in the afternoon, staying at the Du PARK Hotel, at night the City Tour Night, INTERNATIONAL DINNER.
DAY 10: Nuqui (Biodiversity/ Sighting/ Exotic)
Colors, jungle, biodiversity, gastronomy, clean air, exotic fruits, flora and fauna and joyful people. The Chocó lies along the Pacific Ocean, at the north west of Colombia and its main attractions are Playa Huina, Nabugá, El Valle, La Playa del Almejal, Nuquí and Utrial Natural National Park, among others. Here you’ll discover the wealth and exuberance of the chocoan jungle and the mysteries of the Pacific Ocean. Humpback Whales love these waters, and every year they visit them to mate and give birth to their offspring, tortoises leave their footprint on the beaches right after they’re born and dolphins migrate along this biological corridor and in the jungle, a great variety of species look for shelter. Main activities: enjoy refreshing waterfalls, trekking around the jungle accompanied by former hunters, whale watching, birds, frogs, orchids, bromeliad, walking along the Tundó River, diving, surfing, visiting the Utria National Park, and many more. It’s without doubt a unique way to submerse in a shelter full of life, silence and tranquility!
Breakfast at 7:00 am, leaving the Du Park Hotel at 7:30 am to go to the Olaya Herrera Airport, where we’ll board a small plane at 8 am. The ride takes 45 minutes approximately. We’ll arrive to the Nuquí Airport, it is recommended to buy all supplies not included on the plan in the head of the municipality, and afterwards the hotel’s boat will set sail from Nuqui to the Guachalito beach, where the Nautilos Hotel is located. You’ll receive a welcome cocktail, some general information and will have the morning all to yourself. Traditional Chocoan lunch.
With an average temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, this Colombian municipality located on the chocoan Pacific is considered one of Colombia’s last natural paradises. With its exuberant beaches that blend with the rainforest, it allows tourists and water sports lovers enjoy unique experiences, added to the vast biodiversity of the region, that lets visitors enjoy magical and colorful landscapes.
Its geography allows to see the seasonal arrival and stay of Humpback Whales, migratory birds, tortoises and a wonderful bouquet of unique biodiversity only present in the Colombian pacific littoral.
ChocoTour- Thermals in the afternoon Relax and get renewed in the midst of a wild landscape with thermal waters.
Leaving at 2.pm after lunch. Going along a trail (beach/trail) to the thermals. A natural spa between the beach and the jungle, which is located after a 30 minute walk to the south from Guachalito beach, close to Nuquí.
At night, after a CHOCOAN TRADITIONAL DINNER, we’ll share some time with the community, hearing their stories next to a fire on the beach, and we’ll taste a traditional drink. Afterwards we’ll go for a walk at night, accompanied by our local guide and we’ll contemplate the moon, the stars and some nocturnal birds.
Choco-adventure experiences: Hiking, health and well-being, gastronomy, flora and fauna (BIRDS, WHALES, FROGS, TURTLES, BUTTERFLIES, ORCHIDS, BROMELIADS, FLOWERS). Return to the hotel, free night.
DAY 11: Nuquí- NNP Utría
Experience: Flora and Fauna Sighting (Birds, whales, frogs, turtles, butterflies, orchids) Depending on the season, and the kind of luck you have, you will be able to appreciate the exuberant nature of the Colombian Pacific, take a walk along the mangroves, and enjoy a kayak ride on the Utria Bay. Here, you’ll live a community tourism experience, chocoan biodiversity and cuisine and the hydric richness of the Colombian Pacific Coast.
The Utria Natural National Park is an ancestral territory of afro descending cultures that depend on goods and services provided by the area. You’ll find an exuberant tropical jungle where migratory birds and whales come often, where the gorgeous cove grows and falls with the tides.
Visiting Utria Natrural National Park is a must if you want to unplug and live an experience in a completely natural environment.
Be one with nature by enjoying the beautiful Pacific Coast landscapes accompanied by tour guides from the region. You will have the opportunity to see wonderful frogs, plants and birds in a completely virgin environment away from civilization.
After a long journey from the Antarctic, whales come to the warm Colombian waters between July and October to give birth to a new generation. Come and witness this miracle of nature!
Breakfast at 7am at the Utria NNP Hotel, in the morning we’ll have a flora and fauna interpretative sighting EXPERIENCE around the park’s trails with a private native tour guide, hiking, going to the beach until lunch time, relaxing afternoon in the hotel, kayak, mangrove trails, sharing with the community. Dinner and free night around the park.
DAY 12: Utría NNP-Nuquí-Medellín
Early breakfast at the Utria NNP, leaving on a boat at 7:00 am to Nuqui (Airport), and boarding the assigned flight to Medellin. We will go from Enrique Olaya Herrrra Airport to the Du Park Hotel, to take a shower, pack and go back home.
