Duration: 8 hours, including 5-6 hours hiking Located in the central Andean mountain range with an altitude of 3.150 m (AMSL) the “Páramo Las Baldias” is the highest peak of the Medellín valley. This area gives birth to the most important freshwater resources for the city of Medellín. It offers huge biodiversity that ranges from frailejones, fern trees, and several endemic Colombian orchids, and of course plenty of exotic bird species.
